The goal of the Youth and Intervention Services Division is to provide the resources necessary for assisting citizens under circumstances, thereby promoting a quality of life philosophy.
Youth and Intervention Services' staff as well as the volunteers are equipped with professionals who devote their energy and time to improve the quality of life for the citizens of the City of Macon . The staff and volunteers display dignity, pride, and integrity in the performance of their duties. This Unit provides the citizens of Macon an opportunity to learn first-hand information about police operations.
Youth and Intervention Services strive to increase public awareness and support for crime prevention and to conduct research on crime prevention and establish the best practices by taking the knowledge that we have in our head, putting it in our hand to serve the citizen of Macon .
