VACATION:
Paid vacation time is earned according to your years of service.

  • One (1) week per year after six (6) months.
  • Two (2) weeks per year after two (2) years
  • Three (3) weeks per year after ten (10) years
  • Four (4) weeks per year after twenty (20) years.
HOLIDAYS:
The Mayor and Council may also declare other holidays during the year from time to time.

SICK LEAVE:
Ten (10) days per year are authorized.  Additional time may be granted by the Director of Personnel for extenuating circumstances.

MILITARY TIME:
Members servicing their military reserve or national guard obligation are granted paid military leave [eighteen (18) days per year]
