Major Brady Fields
Area I Commander

Major Brady Fields has served is a graduate of the FBI Academy. He has attended Macon State College, Bell and Howell Technical College, and Middle Georgia College. During his tenure with the Macon Police Department, Major Fields has served in several capacities to include Chief of Staff, Management Services, Patrol Division, Internal Affairs, Detective Bureau, and Crime Prevention.

Area I consists of Precinct 1, Precinct 2, and an investigative unit that investigates non-violent property crimes that occur in the aforementioned precincts.

In addition to responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, the Area I officers also perform proactive assignments within the communities. The officers partner with the communities to ensure a better quality of life for all of its citizens.

The Area I Command Center houses the Area I Major and investigators.
